EC publishes recent Horizon 2020 Flash Call information

The European Commission, DG Reserch & Innovation, has published the outcome of recent evaluations of calls under Horizon 2020 on its Participant Portal.

The call for the Marie Skłodowska Curie topic RISE (Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) closed on 5 April 2017. The Research Executive Agency (REA) evaluated a total of 326 submitted proposals, of which it found 210 to be above threshold. The total budget requested by the above-threshold proposals is € 193.4 million, while the budget available for this call is € 80 million. The EC has recently informed the applicants about the evaluation results for their proposals and expects the first grant agreements to be signed by the end of September 2017.

The Industry in the Circular Economy call, a Cross-cutting Activity in the Industrial Leadership pillar of Horizon 2020, closed on 4 May 2017. It received a total of 21 proposals, of which 9 were eligible. The total budget requested is € 62.2 million, the budget available for the call is € 48.6 million.

The call for Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Production in the Industrial Leadership pillar also closed on 4 May 2017. It received a total of 107 proposals, of which 55 were above threshold. They requested a total budget of € 343.4 million, with € 235.4 million available for the call.
