Call for Papers: "Smart Cities" Conference, Bucharest
The National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, the Faculty of Public Administration and the „Development and Urban Planning” research working group organize the „Smart Cities” Conference 4rd edition on December 8-9, 2016. The participation to the conference is open to teachers, researchers and students from all areas of administrative sciences.

TOPICS ADDRESSED
Papers submitted to publication will primarly focus on the following aspects, but will not be limited only to these: e-government, e-democracy, social innovation, urban planning and development, legal science, political science, public management, urban sociology. The list may also include European integration, economics, environment, health, communication, architecture, cybernetics and many other domains.

PUBLICATION
The articles will be scientifically evaluated and the ones accepted for publication will be included in the conference’s volume, which will be edited and printed by the ProUniversitaria Publishing House – a publisher accredited by the National Council of Scientific Research in Higher Education and by the National Council for Attesting Titles, Diplomas and University Certificates. We encourage not only academic scholars to publish papers, but also public administration’s practitioners. The conference’s scientific committee will select the papers that are to be presented in the conference’s plenary sessions; the participants will be notified by e-mail.
The manuscript will be written in Romanian or English language and will follow the format available here.
Abstracts and articles will be written in Romanian or English language and will be sent to the e-mail address:catalin.vrabie@snspa.ro.

18-09-2016 – deadline for abstracts;
09-10-2016 – participation confirmation;
27-11-2016 – deadline for papers;
05-12-2016 – communication of the conference’s final schedule;
8-9 December 2016 – plenary session of the conference.
